Wednesday, September 30 - Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, B97, New Orleans
Mariah told Kidd Kraddick how busy it was the day of the release of her new album Memoirs: appearance on the Today Show and Macy's, and interview after interview, release party. She also talked about Precious, Nick, her biggest imperfection:

"I've always been an insecure person just because of my background, the way I grew up and things like that. So to do this for a living really took a lot of ambition and so I try to never give up. It's difficult. I definitely don't always like the way I look when I look in the mirror even if it's been people doing my hair, make-up I often go back to feeling like that little girl who didn't feel pretty or didn't fit in my own ways so there are many imperfections and also just personality-wise, we always try to be nice but sometimes you can give a little crack, you don't mean to but... by the way I didn't mean little crack as in crack like whack crack [laughs]."

Wednesday, September 30 - Big Boy In The Neighborhood, Power 106, L.A.
Mariah talked to Power 106's morning team Big Boy and Luscious Liz. Things discussed: the meaning of the album title Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, her being a "studio rat," that she loves to be in the studio where she can be creative; and "Obsessed."

Big Boy: Did we, the public, look too hard into 'Obsessed' the record, as far as like, 'Okay, it's about Eminem.' Mariah: That's only the video. They looked at that and said that I was playing the part of a certain person. Now let me ask you something? If I was gonna play that part, I think we all know I would have been a little less, how do you say it? Like I was trying to butch it up. I would have just been like more of a girl in a guy's outfit. Big Boy: Hmm... so if you were playing that guy Eminem, you would have been a little more feminine. Mariah: Well, I just would have been more timid. Big Boy: Go ahead. That was like a rear shot right there. [Laughter in the studio] Mariah: My brother is like a physically-black belt and he kicks box all over the world. He's very physically-fit and he always has been and so I look at men in a different way and it's just a sort of thing when I'm doing the push-ups in the room, my face is reminded me of my brother. I don't look like someone of Nordic descent. No, for real, like that one person is from more like their background seems to be more... there's nothing wrong with that. It's from you know the northern part of the world.
