The album peaked at number 1 for eight weeks on Billboard's Top Electronic Albums chart, selling 40,697 copies in its first week of U.S. release. It debuted at number 26 on the Billboard 200, spent five weeks on the chart and it is Carey's first album not to have been given a certification by the RIAA.

Back catalog sales of the album began to sell at a moderate pace following the success of Carey's fourteenth album, The Emancipation of Mimi (2005). The Remixes sold 1 million copies worldwide, including 250,000 copies in the U.S.^[1]
